Barbaresco 2019 DOCG Pertinace 750ml

The Barbaresco DOCG is a classic, made with Nebbiolo grapes coming from the vineyards in Treiso and Barbaresco. The vineyard has a southerly aspect and acreage of 21 hectares. This wine undergoes temperature controlled vinification for 40-60 days in steel tanks with a submerged cap followed by an 18 month ageing period in Slavonian oak casks. Barbaresco DOCG has a bright garnet red hue with ruby reflex and aromas of intense pepper, chocolate and liquorice. On the tongue, this mix is harmonious and velvety with soft tannins.
