Pouilly Fume La Charmette Chauveau 12.5% 2021 750ml

The Pouilly fumé “La Charmette” produced by Domaine Chauveau is a white wine with great minerality which will work wonders as an aperitif.

It is made from plots of Sauvignon blanc vines spread across the commune of Saint-Andelain. The variety of soils, composed of marl and limestone, brings early maturity to the grapes while giving them freshness and fruity aromas.

This vintage is only made with the first juice from the pressing and aged on fine lees for 6 to 8 months before being offered to you for tasting.

Exceptional terroir, wine from a winemaker rewarded on numerous occasions, all offered at excellent value for money.  

A great smoked Pouilly to enjoy with friends as an aperitif today, but which the more patient can age for a few more years.
