This 'small batch' Primitivo di Manduria from Riporta is Ruby red in colour with violet dark hints. Intense, complex, and fruity aroma, with notes of cherries and blackberries. Velvety and soft texture with a warm and long persistence in flavours.

Aged in American and French oak barriques for 6 months before bottling.

Our Primitivo vines are located in one of the most fascinating areas of Salento, between Sava and Manduria, in the heart of the denomination. The warmth of the sun and the proximity to the Ionian Sea are the most important factors for the production of Primitivo di Manduria DOC. This land gives life to the typical bush vines, “albarello” which are over 30 years old which give to the wine a unique aromatic characteristic.
