It’s always a good sign when the tasting bench falls silent, and there is lots of barely susceptible nodding. That is what happened here. Gorgeous dark fruits frame classic cool climate aromatics and a light, bright acidity. The fruit balance of this wine is outstanding for this price.

Love that grainy texture with its minerally tannin and understated oak in support. A drier style of shiraz which is ideally suited to food.
